These gases can be separated from the air by cryogenic distillation. The main challenge of this process is to achieve high separation performance and, at the same time, keep the column heights and the investment costs low. Sulzer has developed a 3-in-1 internal that significantly reduces the column height and, in addition, allows horizontal transport.
