505 | _aThis paper proposes an alternate methodology for technology selection using data envelopment analysis (DEA). It addresses some of the shortcomings in the methodology suggested by M. Khouja [Computers Industrial Engineering, 28, 123-132 (1995)], and presents a more robust analysis based on cross efficiencies in DEA. Although, this paper concentrates on a specific methodology with no apriori weights, extensions in DEA that account for a decision maker's input in technology selection are also addressed. Finally, the applicability of the methodology from both buyer and manufacturer view points is discussed. | ||
