505 | _aTab. 1 gives an overview of the figures reported by various associations, journals and institutes for the wind power capacity installed worldwide in 2007. The comparison shows that there are differences in the figures given for some countries. One reason certainly is the method of registering the newly installed wind turbines (WTGS). In one survey, all of the wind turbines sold in 2007 are counted, in another only the wind turbines actually installed, and here again it makes a difference whether the WTGS are already connected to the grid or not yet connected. The figures given in this article, as in the previous years, refer to the surveys carried out by BTM Consult. For the German value creation/export we used the figures determined by us on the basis of the manufacturers' reference lists and other information supplied by manufacturers. | ||
