<br/><br/>Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) have the flexibility to meet the material handling requirements of asynchronous assembly lines. Furthermore, AGVs can select from among alternative paths in accordance with a prescribed lane selection rule, thereby facilitating the use of parallel server workstations.
