Stop and go, Glsgow's intelligent bus stops

This article describes the integrated system being developed by the company Serco for management and operation of quality bus corridors (QBC) in the city of Glasgow, Scotland. The Bus Information and Signalling (BIAS) system brings together a range of components including urban traffic management and control, automatic public transport vehicle location, bus fleet management and real-time passenger information.
