Unsicherheit von Ertragsprognosen - Verbesserung durch Strömungssimulation?

The uncertainties of energy yield prognoses based on the European Wind Atlas Method are obvious and become visible in wind farms which do not meet the expected results. With exploitation of the inner regions of Germany the difficulties of energy yield prognoses are increasing as well as the demands for accuracy. Besides the installation of wind measuring equipment, the computational fluid dynamics (cfd) is discussed as possible solution. However, the experience with cfd for wind energy prognosis is limited and lacks especially a systematic analysis of the expected uncertainties.
