The technical guideline for wind turbines part 3: evaluation of power quality [1] will probably be updated at the end of this year. Concerning switching operations the sampling rate shall be increased from 1kHz to 1.5kHz and the emergency cut off will be taken out. The method of grid protection measurements is extended for IT-networks without star connection, but the changes are only temporary, because of the expected change of the grid protection philosophy of the utilities.
