Wind Energy Use in Germany - Status 31.12.2007

As of 31.12.20071, 19,460 wind turbines (WTGS) with a rated power of 22,247 MW were in operation in Germany. The average installed power per WTGS therefore is 1,143 kW. In the year 2007, 883 WTGS with a rated power of 1,666 MW were installed in Germany.
