Kabeldimensionierung bei der Netzanbindung von Offshore-Windparks unter Ber cksichtigung der zeitlichen Leistungsabgabe

It is shown how the statistical time performance of the energy production of large wind farms can be considered during the cable design. Thus, the limited duration of a maximum load of e.g. three sequential days, resulting from the wind statistics, leads to substantial maximum load increases from submarine cables for the grid connection of offshore wind farms. This applies in particular, if restrictions are given for the heating up of the bottom of the sea, like it is discussed at present for the Wattensea (in the computed example + 45.3 p.c.). For the cable layout presented here, also in the case of statistical outliers with longer full load periods, the loss of energy by power eduction of the wind farm remains small (in the example 0.76 p.c. of the total full load hours).
